Job Description
UPS is seeking a highly professional and dependable Executive Commuter Driver to manage a fixed daily route for our senior leadership in the Covington, Kentucky area. This critical role ensures the safe, timely, and comfortable transportation of executives, adhering to a pre-determined schedule and maintaining the highest standards of discretion and service. The ideal candidate will possess an impeccable driving record, strong navigational skills, and a commitment to punctuality and confidentiality. This is an on-site position requiring daily presence and adherence to a consistent schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport executives along a fixed daily route between designated locations, adhering strictly to schedule.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the assigned company vehicle is always in optimal operating condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle, both interior and exterior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
- Ensure passenger comfort, privacy, and security throughout each journey.
- Proactively plan routes to account for traffic, weather, or unexpected delays, and communicate adjustments as necessary.
- Handle all interactions with professionalism, discretion, and a polite demeanor.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to management.
Required Skills
- Valid state-issued Driver's License (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.
- Excellent time management and punctuality.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes in the Covington, KY and greater Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area.
- Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a corporate driver, chauffeur, or executive transport specialist.
- Familiarity with advanced vehicle safety systems and features.
- Advanced defensive driving certification or training.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
