Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Lift Attendant & Porter to join our esteemed team at The Mount Hotel Country Manor. This traditional role is central to our commitment to providing an unparalleled guest experience. You will be the welcoming face of our hotel, assisting guests with their arrival and departure, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining the classic charm that defines our establishment. This position requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to guest service, and an appreciation for the refined traditions of a boutique hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon their arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with their luggage, ensuring careful handling and timely delivery to and from their rooms.
- Operate and maintain the hotel's traditional lift, ensuring guest safety and comfort (if applicable).
- Escort guests to their rooms, providing brief introductions to hotel amenities and services.
- Maintain the cleanliness and pristine appearance of the hotel lobby, entrance, and lift areas.
- Provide accurate and helpful information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently and courteously, escalating issues as necessary.
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required by the front office or management to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, safety standards, and guest service protocols.
