Job Description
Join Evans Halshaw as a Mobile Moped Valeter, specializing in small vehicle detailing. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about maintaining pristine vehicle aesthetics and providing exceptional service directly to our customers. You will be responsible for travelling to various locations to detail mopeds, scooters, and other small vehicles, ensuring they meet our rigorous quality standards. We are looking for a meticulous, reliable, and customer-focused individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys the independence of a mobile role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive interior and exterior cleaning of mopeds, scooters, and small vehicles.
- Apply waxes, polishes, and protective coatings to ensure a pristine finish.
- Clean and condition leather/vinyl surfaces, glass, and chrome components.
- Inspect vehicles for damage and report any issues to the client or supervisor.
- Manage and maintain valeting equipment and supplies, ensuring they are always clean and in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage scheduling and route planning for mobile appointments efficiently.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to vehicle cleaning.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle cleaning products and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting or detailing.
- Familiarity with detailing small vehicles (mopeds, scooters).
- Knowledge of advanced detailing techniques and products.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for simple checks (e.g., tyre pressure).
