Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Remote Instagram Community Manager to join our global digital marketing team. This is a 100% remote position. In this role, you will be the voice of our brands on Instagram, engaging with our audience, fostering a vibrant community, and transforming followers into advocates. You will monitor conversations, respond to comments and messages, identify trends, and collaborate with content creators to ensure our Instagram presence is impactful and authentic. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Instagram’s ecosystem, a knack for engaging storytelling, and a commitment to creating meaningful connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and moderate all community interactions across various Instagram accounts for assigned brands.
- Develop and execute daily engagement strategies to grow and nurture our Instagram communities.
- Monitor social listening tools to identify trends, sentiment, and opportunities for engagement.
- Respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions promptly and professionally, reflecting brand voice.
- Collaborate with the content, marketing, and customer service teams to align community efforts with broader strategies.
- Identify and engage with key influencers, brand advocates, and potential collaborators.
- Provide regular reports on community sentiment, growth metrics, and engagement performance.
- Stay up-to-date with Instagram algorithm changes, features, and best practices.
- Escalate critical issues and feedback to appropriate internal teams.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in social media community management, specifically with Instagram.
- Proven ability to grow and engage online communities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of Instagram's platform, tools, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Proficiency with social media management and listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Experience working with global brands or in the apparel/lifestyle industry.
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles and experience with tools like Canva or Adobe Express.
- Experience with influencer marketing and outreach.
