Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Inventory Associate to join our team in Pasco, WA. This critical role involves maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring that all items are correctly received, stored, and tracked. The ideal candidate will possess an unwavering commitment to precision, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be instrumental in preventing discrepancies and supporting the smooth flow of operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately scanned, labeled, and stored.
- Maintain organized and efficient warehouse storage areas.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (certification provided if needed).
- Generate inventory reports and provide data analysis to management.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management processes.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., WMS).
- Forklift certification.
- Previous experience in a FedEx or logistics environment.
