Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Game Tester to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously testing games in a high-speed environment, ensuring the highest quality standards are met before release. You will work closely with developers and quality assurance leads to identify, document, and track bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies. This position requires quick reflexes, exceptional observational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting focused on delivering seamless gaming experiences. The ‘Subito’ aspect of the role indicates an emphasis on rapid response and immediate action in identifying and reporting critical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases thoroughly and efficiently in a high-speed gaming environment.
- Identify, document, and reproduce bugs, glitches, and other issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide detailed feedback on game mechanics, usability, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure identified issues are understood and resolved.
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of game industry trends and testing methodologies.
- Contribute to improving existing test processes and documentation.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Passion for video games and an understanding of various gaming genres.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.

- Previous experience in quality assurance or game testing.
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
