Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Transporting patients safely and comfortably between wards, departments, and other areas using wheelchairs, trolleys, and beds.
- Moving equipment, samples, medical records, and supplies throughout the hospital as required.
- Assisting with the safe handling and transfer of patients.
- Ensuring cleanliness and proper storage of portering equipment.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a calm, reassuring presence for patients and visitors.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
- Communicating effectively with nursing staff, doctors, and other hospital personnel.

- Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
