Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting patients safely and comfortably between wards, departments, and other areas using wheelchairs, trolleys, and beds.

  • Assisting with the safe handling and transfer of patients.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and proper storage of portering equipment.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a calm, reassuring presence for patients and visitors.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
  • Communicating effectively with nursing staff, doctors, and other hospital personnel.
