Job Description
Join Linde as a Chemical Warehouse Technician and become an integral part of our supply chain in Riverside, CA. We are looking for a dedicated individual to manage and organize chemical inventory, ensuring safe handling, storage, and distribution. This entry-level role offers comprehensive Hazmat training, making it an excellent opportunity for motivated candidates eager to learn and grow in a critical industrial environment. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with safety regulations and supporting our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue chemical products in accordance with established procedures.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock movement using warehouse management systems.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including proper labeling, packaging, and loading of hazardous materials.
- Adhere strictly to all Hazmat regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of the warehouse and equipment.
- Assist with waste disposal procedures and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout and operational flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory management.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
- Must be able to successfully complete Hazmat training provided by the company.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with chemical handling or hazardous materials (though training is provided).
