Job Description
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy visiting various businesses? BestMark is seeking Secret Shopping Contractors to join our network in Salinas, CA and surrounding areas. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity where you get to choose assignments that fit your schedule, allowing you to work when you want. As a Secret Shopper, you will anonymously evaluate customer service, product quality, store cleanliness, and overall experience at assigned locations. Your observations and feedback are crucial in helping businesses understand their strengths and areas for improvement, ultimately enhancing the customer journey. This role is ideal for individuals looking for supplemental income, flexibility, and a chance to make a real impact on service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and complete mystery shopping assignments according to detailed guidelines and deadlines.
- Visit assigned businesses (e.g., retail stores, restaurants, service centers) as a regular customer.
- Observe and evaluate specific aspects of the customer experience, including staff interactions, product availability, store environment, and service delivery.
- Accurately record observations and details of your experience, often requiring discreet note-taking or memorization.
- Submit comprehensive and objective written reports online, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Provide constructive feedback and evidence (e.g., photos, receipts) as required by the assignment.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding assignments and client information.
Required Skills
