Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Remote AI Community Engagement Specialist to foster and grow our AI developer and enthusiast community across various social media platforms. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our internal AI teams and the external community, driving engagement, facilitating knowledge sharing, and championing our AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of social media trends, community building best practices, and a foundational interest in artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies to engage with the AI community, increasing brand visibility and fostering positive sentiment.
- Monitor social media channels for discussions related to AI, respond to comments and questions, and identify emerging trends or issues.
- Create compelling content (text, image, video) tailored for different social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Discord) that resonates with AI developers and enthusiasts.
- Organize and promote online events, webinars, and discussions to encourage community participation and knowledge exchange.
- Collaborate with internal AI research and product teams to understand their work and translate complex concepts into engaging community updates.
- Identify and nurture community leaders and influencers within the AI space.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide reports with actionable insights.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in social media management and community engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Basic understanding or strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience moderating online forums or communities.
- Familiarity with developer communities and open-source projects.
- Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
