Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Production Warehouse Worker to join our manufacturing support team in New Port Richey, Florida. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products within our warehouse and supporting our manufacturing lines. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety within a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment, and contributing to overall operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Receive, unload, inspect, and accurately store incoming materials and finished goods.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or transfer to manufacturing lines according to production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning, documentation, and data entry.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling any discrepancies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper securing and handling of freight.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and compliant with all company safety standards and procedures.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or incidents promptly to supervision.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize warehouse processes and support manufacturing goals.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, including inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment (previous experience is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
  • Current forklift certification or demonstrable experience operating industrial forklifts.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with strict deadlines.
