Job Description
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Regional Flatbed Drivers to join our growing team in the Rancho Cucamonga area. As a Regional Flatbed Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting various types of freight, primarily on a regional lane basis, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all DOT regulations. This role offers excellent earning potential through competitive mileage pay, additional tarping pay, and performance bonuses for safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a flatbed truck to transport goods across regional routes.
- Secure loads using appropriate tie-downs, chains, and tarps, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and submit necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations.
- Handle loading and unloading assistance when required.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable flatbed driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with flatbed work, including tarping and securing loads
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Hazmat endorsement
- TWIC card
