Are you a passionate gamer with an encyclopedic knowledge of EA Sports titles and the cutting-edge technology that powers modern gaming? Best Buy is seeking an EA Sports Product Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for all things related to EA Sports franchises, gaming consoles, accessories, and emerging gaming tech. You will provide exceptional customer service, offer expert advice, demonstrate products, and drive sales by connecting customers with the perfect gaming experience. This is an on-site, full-time position where you’ll immerse yourself in the world of gaming every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and informative demonstrations of EA Sports games and related gaming hardware.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and recommendations to customers, addressing their questions and needs.
- Assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and purchasing decisions related to gaming tech.
- Stay current with the latest releases, updates, and trends in EA Sports titles and the broader gaming industry.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing gaming product display area.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated passion and extensive knowledge of EA Sports gaming titles (e.g., FIFA, Madden NFL, NHL, F1).
- Strong understanding of current-generation gaming consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo), PC gaming hardware, and VR/AR gaming technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proven customer service abilities and a genuine desire to help customers.
- Adept at sales techniques and achieving targets.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail experience, especially in consumer electronics or gaming.
- Certifications or extensive hands-on experience with specific gaming hardware or software platforms.
