Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IV Hydration Nurse to join our vibrant team at Restore Hyper Wellness in Glendale, CA. This role is perfect for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about proactive health and wellness. As an IV Hydration Nurse, you will be responsible for administering IV vitamin and hydration therapies, conducting client consultations, ensuring client safety and comfort, and providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic wellness lounge setting. This position offers a competitive hourly wage, along with exciting opportunities for tips and commission based on performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer IV vitamin and hydration therapies safely and effectively according to Restore protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations and assessments to determine appropriate IV treatments.
- Perform venipuncture and maintain IV access with precision and care.
- Monitor clients during treatment and promptly manage any adverse reactions or complications.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper sanitation of all equipment and treatment areas.
- Educate clients on the benefits of IV therapy, post-treatment care, and other wellness services offered.
- Accurately document client information, treatment plans, progress, and adverse events in the electronic health record system.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and welcoming client experience.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless client flow and efficient service delivery.
Required Skills
- Current and unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with successful IV insertion and venipuncture in a clinical setting.
- Proficient in administering IV fluids and medications.
- Strong patient assessment, monitoring, and emergency response skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client education abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a collaborative team.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a med spa, wellness clinic, urgent care, or emergency room setting.
- Knowledge of various vitamin and nutrient therapies and their physiological effects.
- Previous experience with sales or client education in a wellness or retail environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems specific to wellness clinics.
