Job Description
Tinies Childcare is seeking trustworthy, reliable, and experienced Babysitters for casual night work in Swansea. This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible evening and weekend hours, providing essential care for children while parents are away. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a comforting routine. We are looking for individuals who are not only experienced in childcare but also possess a warm, patient, and responsible demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children during evening and night hours, ensuring their safety and security.
- Engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities, including reading, games, and creative play.
- Prepare and serve light meals or snacks as required.
- Follow bedtime routines, including bathing, dressing, and putting children to bed.
- Maintain a clean and tidy play area and common spaces used by children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities and any incidents.
- Handle minor first aid situations and emergencies calmly and competently.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in babysitting or childcare.
- Strong understanding of child safety and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to adapt to different family routines and preferences.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
Preferred Qualifications
- Childcare qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3).
- Current Paediatric First Aid certification.

- Clean UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
