Job Description
Join XPO Logistics as a Regional Truck Driver based out of our Philadelphia hub. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced CDL A drivers looking for consistent routes and reliable home time. Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Transport freight between distribution centers and customer locations.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and submit all required paperwork.
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Represent XPO Logistics professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading and vehicle inspections
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
