Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional, experienced, and meticulously vetted Secure Transport Chauffeur to join our specialized team in New Port Richey, Florida. This critical role involves providing discreet and secure transportation for high-value assets, sensitive documents, and VIP clients. The successful candidate will possess an impeccable driving record, advanced defensive driving skills, a strong commitment to security protocols, and exceptional client service capabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the absolute safety and timely arrival of all transported items and individuals, upholding Brink’s stringent standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles for the secure transport of assets, documents, or personnel according to established routes and schedules.
- Adhere strictly to all security protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and local traffic laws.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring all safety and security equipment is operational.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness for service, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Effectively communicate with dispatch, security personnel, and clients while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
- React calmly and professionally to unexpected situations, implementing appropriate security measures as trained.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, routes, and transport logs.
- Represent Brink's with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in secure transport or executive protection.
- Impeccable driving record with no major infractions.
- Ability to pass extensive background checks, drug screenings, and security clearances.
- Valid state driver's license appropriate for vehicle class (Class D or higher, depending on vehicle).
- Proficiency in defensive driving techniques and evasive maneuvers.
- Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on discretion and client confidentiality.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs and remain alert for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or private security.
- Completion of advanced defensive driving or evasive driving courses.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Knowledge of local geography and optimal routing in the New Port Richey and surrounding Florida areas.
- Experience with secure communication devices and tracking technology.
