Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying living areas.
- Assist clients with safe transfers and mobility.
- Administer medication reminders.
- Document care provided accurately and communicate any changes in client condition to the supervisor.
- Transport clients to appointments or errands as required.
Required Skills
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans diligently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Basic understanding of health and safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (e.g., CNA, HHA, personal care assistant)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
