Job Description
As a Member Relations Specialist – Professional Career Path at Golden 1 Credit Union, you will be a pivotal point of contact for our members, providing expert assistance and fostering lasting relationships. You will be responsible for resolving complex member inquiries, recommending suitable financial products, and ensuring every member interaction upholds our commitment to outstanding service. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to members via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Address and resolve complex member inquiries, account issues, and service requests efficiently and effectively.
- Identify member financial needs and recommend appropriate Golden 1 Credit Union products and services, including loans, deposits, and investment options.
- Process transactions, open new accounts, and assist with loan applications accurately and in compliance with regulations.
- Educate members on credit union policies, procedures, and digital banking tools.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all credit union products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Golden 1 Credit Union's values and commitment to member satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of member interactions and resolutions.
Required Skills

- Demonstrated customer service experience, preferably in a financial setting.
