Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Reach Truck Specialist for our night shift operations in New Port Richey, Florida. This crucial role involves safely and efficiently operating reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve products within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. As a Night Shift Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and timely order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, stack, and retrieve materials and products.
- Perform daily equipment checks and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Transport products to and from specified locations within the warehouse.
- Support inventory control by accurately scanning and documenting product movements.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Assist with manual loading/unloading of materials as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet operational goals.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Certification in other material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, order picker).
