Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Online YouTube Metadata Clerk to join our dynamic content team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient uploading and metadata management of YouTube content primarily targeted towards a 16-year-old teen audience. This position is crucial for ensuring our videos are discoverable, properly categorized, and compliant with platform guidelines, contributing directly to the success of our creators and channels. You will work closely with content managers and creators to implement best practices for YouTube SEO and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload video content to designated YouTube channels with precision and adherence to established schedules.
- Input and optimize all metadata components including titles, descriptions, tags, and categories to maximize discoverability and engagement.
- Create and update end screens, cards, and playlists to enhance viewer experience and channel navigation.
- Ensure all uploaded content and metadata comply with YouTube's terms of service, community guidelines, and copyright policies.
- Collaborate with content creators and internal teams to understand video specifics and target audience needs.
- Maintain organized records of uploaded content and associated metadata.
- Monitor basic video performance metrics post-upload to identify areas for metadata improvement (e.g., keyword effectiveness).

- Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation.
- Familiarity with the YouTube platform as a user and a basic understanding of its functionalities.
