Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Insurance Admin Assistant with a focus on Claims Processing to join our team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This role is crucial in supporting our claims department, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of administrative tasks related to insurance claims. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to accuracy, playing a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional service to our policyholders during their time of need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and organize incoming claims documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist claims adjusters with administrative tasks, including scheduling, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Maintain electronic and physical claims files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders to gather information or provide updates as directed.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, letters, and other communications related to claims processing.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment for the claims department.
  • Support general office administration as needed, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative or clerical experience, preferably in an office setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry, particularly with claims processing.
  • Associate's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Familiarity with insurance claims software or CRM systems.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
