Job Description
Are you passionate about gaming and have a keen eye for detail? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Remote Xbox Game Testers. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for those with no prior experience in game testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and overall enjoyment of upcoming Xbox titles. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and scenarios on pre-release Xbox games.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and performance issues using specified tools.
- Provide clear, concise, and objective feedback on gameplay, user experience, and overall quality.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure issues are resolved.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand game features and testing requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all unreleased game content.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for video games, especially on the Xbox platform.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate various software applications.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a personal computer/laptop capable of running testing software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with different game genres and an understanding of gaming mechanics.
- Experience with an Xbox console (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S).
- Basic understanding of bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is a plus but not required.
- A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the gaming industry.
