Job Description
Join Blacklane as a Luxury Sedan Operator and become a vital part of our premium chauffeured service team in Pasadena, CA. We are seeking highly professional, reliable, and experienced drivers who are passionate about providing an exceptional client experience. As a Luxury Sedan Operator, you will be responsible for safely and comfortably transporting our executive and leisure clients, ensuring timely arrivals, and maintaining our fleet of luxury vehicles to the highest standards. A pristine Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is absolutely required, reflecting your commitment to safe and responsible driving.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate luxury sedans, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients with luggage and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ensure vehicles are impeccably clean, fueled, and well-maintained before and after each service.
- Plan optimal routes using navigation tools, adapting to traffic conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and electronic logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding trip status and any potential delays.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) – absolutely no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate GPS and navigation applications proficiently.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a chauffeur or in luxury transportation.
- Experience driving high-end luxury vehicles.
- Familiarity with various mobile operating systems for dispatch applications.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Completion of advanced defensive driving courses.
