Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic and reliable individual who enjoys working outdoors? Shell is looking for dedicated Car Wash Attendants to join our friendly team at our Derry/Londonderry service station. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in ensuring vehicles are sparkling clean and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate automated and manual car wash equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-wash treatments, hand washing, and drying of vehicles to a high standard.
- Ensure the car wash area is kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Assist customers with car wash selections, service inquiries, and payment processing.
- Conduct routine checks on car wash equipment for proper functioning and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive experience for all patrons.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality results.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
- A proactive and energetic work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a car wash, automotive service, or customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with car wash machinery and cleaning products.
- Valid UK driver's license (desirable but not essential).
- First aid certification.
