Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver parcels to residential and business customers on a pre-planned route in Derry and surrounding areas.
- Manage delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Handle parcels with care, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.
- Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication and friendly interactions.
- Accurately use our state-of-the-art handheld technology for scanning and proof of delivery.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license (maximum 6 penalty points).
- Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of local road networks in Derry and Northern Ireland.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically capable of handling parcels of various sizes and weights.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery.
- Experience using handheld delivery devices.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
