Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to internal users, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and escalating complex problems to senior IT staff.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems.
- Document IT procedures, solutions, and incident reports accurately.
- Participate in IT projects, contributing to infrastructure improvements and system upgrades.
- Adhere to IT security policies and best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in information technology and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Proactive and eager to take initiative.
- Basic understanding of computer systems and operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS).
Preferred Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, grades 4-9 (A*-C).
- A-levels (or equivalent) in a technology-related subject.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP).
- Previous experience with customer service or helpdesk environments (even voluntary).
