Job Description

Are you a creative and enthusiastic 16-year-old with a passion for writing and a knack for engaging your peers online? Khan Academy is looking for a motivated Online Web Content Aide to contribute to our blog, focusing on topics relevant to teenage learners. This part-time, remote role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in digital content creation, develop your writing skills, and help shape the voice of a leading educational platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm and propose blog post ideas relevant to 16-year-old teens, covering educational tips, career exploration, personal development, and current events.
  • Write, edit, and proofread original blog content, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligns with Khan Academy's tone and brand guidelines.
  • Conduct basic research to support blog topics and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Collaborate with the content team to integrate feedback and improve content quality.
  • Assist with basic social media promotion of blog posts across various platforms.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute ideas for content strategy.

Required Skills

  • Currently 16 years old at the time of application.
