Job Description
Are you looking for a stable job with immediate start and weekly pay? FedEx Ground in Tucson, Arizona, is hiring motivated individuals for the role of Hub Associate. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training! As a Hub Associate, you will play a crucial role in our package handling process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment, ideal for those who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to a world-class logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles and containers.
- Sort packages by destination in a fast-paced environment.
- Scan packages accurately using handheld devices.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor role (though not required).
- Familiarity with safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
