Job Description

This entry-level position is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic hospital environment, providing essential support to patients and medical staff. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and a smooth operational flow. This role is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience, offering comprehensive training and a clear path for professional development within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
- Transport patients safely between departments for appointments, tests, or procedures.
- Help maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including tidying rooms and refreshing supplies.
- Respond to patient calls and requests, providing non-medical assistance and ensuring their comfort.
- Support nursing staff and other medical professionals with various tasks as directed, always maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality.
- Operate and maintain hospital equipment as trained, ensuring proper sterilization and functionality.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively within a team.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that may involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
