Job Description
Are you a 14-year-old looking for your very first job? Do you love arcade games and creating fun experiences for others? Dave & Buster’s in Wesley Chapel is looking for enthusiastic and friendly teens to join our team as Arcade Hosts for casual weekend work. No resume? No problem! We’re looking for personality, a willingness to learn, and a passion for fun. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop customer service skills, and be part of an exciting environment. You’ll help guests navigate our wide array of games, assist with prize redemption, and ensure everyone has a blast.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude as they enter the arcade area.
- Assist guests, particularly younger children and teens, with understanding game rules and basic gameplay.
- Help guests redeem prize tickets, explaining prize options and ensuring a smooth experience.
- Maintain a clean and tidy arcade area, including wiping down game screens and organizing prize counters.
- Provide basic assistance with minor game issues (e.g., advising on card swipes, directing to staff for technical help).
- Engage with guests to ensure they are having a fun and enjoyable experience.
- Be reliable and punctual for all scheduled weekend shifts.
Required Skills
- Must be 14 years old and legally eligible to work.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to interact with guests.
- Enthusiasm for arcade games and entertainment.
- Ability to follow simple instructions and work as part of a team.
