Job Description
Join McKesson as a Pharmaceutical Courier for our high-security, 100% indoor operations in Westminster, CO. This critical role involves the secure and meticulous handling and movement of pharmaceutical products within our controlled distribution facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of vital medical supplies, adhering to strict protocols, and maintaining detailed records. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong commitment to security, and the ability to work effectively within a structured, climate-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the secure internal transportation of pharmaceutical products within the designated facility areas.
- Verify and document all product movements, including pick-ups and deliveries, using internal tracking systems.
- Adhere strictly to all security protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, DEA) governing pharmaceutical handling.
- Conduct routine checks on product integrity and report any discrepancies or damage immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment, including storage areas and transport equipment.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts) safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory control teams to ensure accurate product flow and record-keeping.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or secure handling environment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow strict security protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with pharmaceutical or high-value product handling.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS).
- Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment.
