Job Description
We are actively seeking a skilled and safety-conscious High-Reach Window Cleaner – Specialist Tasker to join our dynamic team in Thousand Oaks, CA. This critical role involves performing advanced window cleaning operations on high-rise buildings, large commercial complexes, and luxury residences. As a Specialist Tasker, you will be proficient in utilizing various access methods, including rope access, suspended scaffolding, and water-fed pole systems, while strictly adhering to all safety regulations and best practices. This hourly position demands meticulous attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to consistently deliver superior, streak-free results.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-reach window cleaning tasks using specialized equipment such as rope access gear, bosun's chairs, suspended platforms, and advanced water-fed pole systems.
- Conduct thorough pre-inspection of all safety equipment, including harnesses, ropes, fall protection, and anchor points, before commencing work.
- Strictly comply with all company safety policies, industry standards, and OSHA regulations for working at heights.
- Maintain a high level of efficiency and precision to ensure spotless, streak-free windows and a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding project status, potential hazards, and schedule adjustments.
- Prepare and safely handle cleaning solutions appropriate for various window types and exterior surfaces.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment on-site.
- Represent SparkleClean Professionals with professionalism, courtesy, and a clean appearance.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in high-reach window cleaning, industrial rope access, or facade maintenance.
- Proven proficiency in operating suspended work platforms, bosun's chairs, and advanced water-fed pole systems.
- Comprehensive understanding and strict adherence to safety protocols for working at heights.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work comfortably and safely at significant elevations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current IRATA or SPRAT certification for rope access technicians.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction safety certification.
- Experience with diverse building exterior materials and window configurations.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
