Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and energetic Dealership Porter to join our growing team in Mobile, AL. This is a vital entry-level role responsible for ensuring our dealership’s vehicle inventory is well-maintained, organized, and ready for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance of our vehicles and premises. Key Responsibilities

  • Move vehicles to and from service lanes, showrooms, and storage areas as needed.
  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including washing, vacuuming, and detailing.
  • Organize and maintain vehicle inventory on the lot, ensuring proper placement and presentation.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
  • Assist with lot maintenance, including trash removal and general upkeep.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers or other locations as directed.
  • Ensure all vehicles are fueled and ready for test drives or customer delivery.
  • Support the sales and service teams by ensuring vehicles are presented in optimal condition.

Required Skills

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Basic communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or general labor.
  • Familiarity with various car makes and models.
