Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Work-from-Home Content Moderator with a strong focus on digital safety to join our global team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content across various platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines, terms of service, and legal requirements. Your primary goal will be to identify and remove harmful, inappropriate, or illegal content, contributing to a safer online experience for millions of users. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home in Ogden, Utah.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze user-generated content (e.g., images, videos, text, audio) submitted by users across various online platforms.
- Apply specific content policies and guidelines to determine the appropriateness and safety of content.
- Identify and escalate sensitive or complex content issues to specialized teams or management.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in content moderation decisions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of content policies and moderation processes.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and data privacy protocols.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve tools and workflows.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in using web browsers and common office software.
- High level of empathy and emotional resilience when exposed to potentially disturbing content.
