Job Description

Are you a gaming enthusiast with a knack for connecting with people and sharing your passion? The Microsoft Store is seeking a dynamic and high-energy Gaming Pro to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. As a Gaming Pro, you will be the ultimate ambassador for gaming at Microsoft, creating engaging experiences for customers of all ages and skill levels. You’ll demonstrate the latest Xbox consoles, PC gaming setups, and a wide array of gaming accessories, providing expert advice and personalized recommendations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves to interact with customers, and is driven to showcase the best of Microsoft’s gaming ecosystem. You’ll inspire joy, foster community, and help customers discover their next favorite game or gaming device.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their gaming interests and needs.
  • Conduct engaging demonstrations of Xbox consoles, PC gaming, and related accessories.
  • Provide expert knowledge on game titles, genres, and gaming trends.
  • Assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and support queries related to gaming.
  • Organize and host in-store gaming events, tournaments, and workshops.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing gaming section within the store.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets for gaming products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with new game releases, hardware innovations, and competitive offerings.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers, creating a loyal gaming community.
  • Support general store operations, including merchandising, inventory, and customer service.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail sales or customer service role.
  • Deep passion for video games and the gaming industry (Xbox, PC gaming preferred).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and educate customers effectively.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience specifically selling or demonstrating gaming products.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Xbox Game Pass and Windows gaming.
  • Experience hosting or organizing gaming events or tournaments.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English) is a plus.
