Job Description
Are you passionate about food and customer service? Greggs is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Quick Service Team across various locations, including our vibrant Shoreditch shop. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves interacting with people, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring our customers always leave with a smile and a delicious Greggs treat. We’re offering full-time positions with competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Prepare and bake a variety of food products to Greggs' high standards.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming shop environment.
- Handle food safely and ensure all hygiene procedures are followed.
- Assist with stock rotation, replenishment, and merchandising.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve shop targets.
- Promote Greggs products and special offers to customers.
- Open and close the shop as required, following all procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to hygiene standards.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a team player mindset.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a till system accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment.
- Basic food hygiene certificate.
- Experience with baking or food preparation.
