Job Description
Are you passionate about media and have a keen eye for detail? Do you enjoy watching videos and have excellent typing skills? AT&T Entertainment Group is looking for a Beginner Subtitle Editor to join our remote team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to start a career in media localization or content accessibility, with no prior experience required. You will be responsible for creating accurate and well-timed subtitles for a variety of video content, ensuring a high-quality viewing experience for all our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Watch video content meticulously to transcribe dialogue, sound effects, and on-screen text.
- Create accurate and grammatically correct subtitles in English.
- Ensure precise timing and synchronization of subtitles with on-screen audio and video.
- Adhere to established style guides, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Review and proofread your own work and potentially work from existing transcripts.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding progress and any issues encountered.
- Manage time efficiently to meet daily and weekly production targets.
Required Skills
- Exceptional command of the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient typing speed and computer literacy.
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
