Job Description

Capgemini is seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated Junior Google Support Specialists to join our dynamic team in Reading. This entry-level role is perfect for freshers who are passionate about technology, eager to learn, and dedicated to providing exceptional user assistance for Google-related products and services. You will be an integral part of our on-site support function, helping users resolve issues, optimize their Google Workspace experience, and ensure seamless operation of essential tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Meet, etc.) and other Google applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by users via phone, email, or chat.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support engineers or relevant teams when necessary.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Assist with user account management, access permissions, and basic system configurations.
  • Educate users on best practices and features of Google products to enhance productivity.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of support documentation and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc.).
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Customer-centric approach and a desire to help others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Any IT-related certifications (e.g., Google IT Support Professional Certificate).
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (not mandatory as freshers are welcome).
