Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Pinterest Business Analyst to join our Strategy & Insights team. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing Pinterest campaign performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize our clients’ social media presence and drive business growth. You will work closely with account managers, media planners, and creative teams to develop data-backed strategies, monitor competitive landscapes, and contribute to the overall success of our Pinterest initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Pinterest’s advertising ecosystem, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for turning data into compelling narratives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze Pinterest campaign data (traffic, engagement, conversions, ROI) to identify key performance drivers and areas for optimization.
  • Develop and present clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
  • Monitor Pinterest trends, platform updates, and competitive activities to inform strategy development.
  • Create comprehensive performance reports and dashboards, leveraging various data visualization tools.
  • Collaborate with media planning and creative teams to align Pinterest strategies with overall marketing objectives.
  • Conduct audience research and market analysis to identify new opportunities on the Pinterest platform.
  • Support the development of A/B testing frameworks and analyze test results to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for social media analytics and Pinterest marketing.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role, with a focus on social media platforms.
  • Proven experience with Pinterest advertising and analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling presentations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various teams and presenting to clients.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, and content marketing.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
  • Experience working in an agency environment.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
