Job Description
Are you passionate about content creation, streaming, and empowering others to achieve professional-grade results from their home studios? Ubisoft is seeking a dedicated and flexible Home Studio Consultant to provide remote support and expertise to our community of creators and internal teams. This is a fully remote role, offering you the opportunity to make a significant impact from anywhere in France. You will guide individuals through the intricacies of setting up and optimizing their home recording and streaming environments, covering everything from audio and video equipment to software workflows and lighting. Your mission is to demystify technical challenges, provide actionable advice, and ensure creators can produce high-quality content efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive remote consultation services for home studio setup and optimization.
- Advise on the selection, installation, and configuration of audio recording equipment (microphones, interfaces, mixers), video equipment (cameras, webcams), and lighting solutions.
- Guide creators through the setup and optimization of various software, including DAWs, video editing suites, streaming platforms (e.g., OBS, Streamlabs OBS), and communication tools.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and acoustics.
- Develop personalized studio optimization plans tailored to individual creator needs and budgets.
- Conduct virtual workshops and create educational resources on best practices for home studio production.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, software updates, and industry trends in content creation and streaming.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with creators, providing patient and professional support.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in audio and video production, including recording, mixing, editing, and streaming.
- In-depth knowledge of popular content creation software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS).
- Strong understanding of various hardware components, including microphones, cameras, lighting kits, audio interfaces, and computer peripherals.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experience with major streaming platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook Gaming.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a flexible schedule effectively in a remote environment.
- A genuine passion for supporting and empowering creators.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in audio engineering, video production, or broadcast technology.
- Previous experience as a content creator, streamer, or producer with a personal home studio.
- Familiarity with acoustic treatment principles and solutions for home environments.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Media Production, Audio Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Fluency in French and English is a significant plus.
