Job Description
Join the high-energy team at Duffy’s Sports Grill in Wesley Chapel as Weekend Bar Staff! We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to contribute to our lively bar scene. This part-time, casual role is perfect for those looking for flexible weekend hours with the added convenience of weekly pay. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Duffy's standards and recipes.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, condiments, and liquor inventory.
- Process transactions accurately using our POS system and handle cash and credit card payments.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with opening and closing duties for the bar as required.
- Monitor guest consumption and prevent over-serving, ensuring responsible alcohol service.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of common drink recipes or a willingness to learn quickly
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts (evenings, nights, and holidays)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting
- TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification
- Familiarity with POS systems in a hospitality environment
