Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Warehouse Worker for night shifts in our North Geelong distribution center. This full-time position is perfect for someone looking to start a career in logistics, offering comprehensive training and a supportive environment. You will be responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, ensuring the efficient movement and accurate handling of goods during the overnight period.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Receiving and dispatching goods, ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, if trained) safely.
- Performing inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Commitment to working night shifts.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical role (even if not professional).
- Experience with pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Forklift license (LF) is a plus, but not mandatory for entry-level.
