Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate iOS Software Engineer to join our fully remote team, focusing on building cutting-edge applications using a modern Swift stack. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our next generation of iOS applications, contributing to a product that impacts users globally. You will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, performant, and delightful user experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit, and the broader Apple ecosystem to solve complex technical challenges and innovate constantly.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable iOS applications using Swift and the latest Apple frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and architectural patterns (MVVM, VIPER, etc.).
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Stay up-to-date with new mobile technologies, trends, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Swift programming language
- Strong understanding of iOS SDK and core frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine)
- Experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or VIPER
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
- Ability to write unit and UI tests for robust application development
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with reactive programming frameworks (e.g., Combine, RxSwift)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
- Experience with performance optimization and memory management in iOS applications
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices for mobile development
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal iOS projects
