Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Grocery Bagger / Packer. This entry-level position is perfect for those looking to start a career in retail and gain valuable customer service experience. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a pleasant and efficient checkout experience by carefully bagging groceries, assisting with package handling, and maintaining a tidy work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently bag customer groceries, ensuring proper packaging and preventing damage.
- Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles when requested.
- Maintain a clean and organized bagging area, including returning shopping carts and baskets.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service at all times.
- Handle all products with care, especially fragile or perishable items.
- Support front-end operations by assisting cashiers and customers as needed.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry groceries and packages, sometimes heavy.
