Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Warehouse Inventory Associate for our Oceanside distribution center. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate cycle counts and physical inventory checks on a regular basis.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes for variances.
- Maintain organized and accurate inventory locations within the warehouse.
- Process inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all documentation matches physical goods.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and update inventory data.
- Collaborate with other warehouse teams to optimize storage and workflow efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide insights to management on stock levels and trends.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP EWM or similar.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
