Job Description
Join Rev.com as an Online Transcriptionist Trainee, specializing in content relevant to 14-year-old teens. This is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about language and accuracy to start a career in transcription with one of the industry’s leaders. As a trainee, you will learn the fundamentals of transcribing audio and video content, focusing on clarity, grammar, and proper identification of speakers, especially within dialogues and discussions concerning teenage life, trends, education, and entertainment. This 100% remote position offers flexible hours and the chance to develop invaluable skills from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio and video files, paying close attention to detail and nuance, particularly in teen-focused content.
- Learn and apply Rev.com's style guide and transcription guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Identify and differentiate speakers clearly, even in challenging audio environments.
- Review and edit your own transcripts for grammatical errors, punctuation, and overall readability.
- Manage your workload and meet deadlines consistently.
- Utilize Rev.com's proprietary transcription platform efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client materials and content.
