Job Description
Are you a bright, energetic 13-year-old looking for your first work experience? Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Fruit Stand Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about retail, customer service, and the fresh produce industry in a supportive and friendly environment. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our fruit stand is always well-stocked, appealing, and welcoming to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with locating and selecting fresh produce items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fruit stand area.
- Replenish stock on shelves, ensuring proper rotation and presentation.
- Monitor produce quality and remove any items that do not meet our freshness standards.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to all shoppers.
- Learn basic inventory management and display techniques.
- Assist with light lifting and moving of produce boxes (within safe limits).
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene guidelines.
