Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Apple Network Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role involves providing expert-level field and remote support for Apple-centric network environments for our diverse client base. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex network and system issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of Apple devices and infrastructure. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical skill, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for Apple hardware and software, including macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and associated network services.
  • Perform on-site and remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and resolution of network connectivity issues, Wi-Fi, VPN, and other infrastructure components.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage Apple devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad) within client networks, including MDM solutions.
  • Implement and maintain network security best practices for Apple environments.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions and recommendations.
  • Document all support activities, configurations, and resolutions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical support needs.
  • Train end-users on Apple technology and network best practices when required.
  • Stay current with the latest Apple technologies, networking standards, and industry trends.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support with a strong focus on Apple products and network infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with macOS, iOS, and iPadOS administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and Wi-Fi protocols.
  • Experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Jamf, Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager).
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites within the region as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT).
  • CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing or consulting role.
