Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Concert Promoter Assistant to join our team at the Viaero Center. This role is crucial in supporting our event promotion and marketing efforts, ensuring successful concert bookings and robust attendance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a passion for live music and events, possessing strong administrative skills and a basic understanding of marketing principles. You will work closely with our promotion and marketing managers, contributing to the full lifecycle of event execution from initial planning to post-event analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Concert Promotion Manager with research, outreach, and negotiation support for potential bookings.
- Coordinate marketing materials for upcoming concerts, including drafting social media content, website updates, and print ad copy.
- Manage event calendars and timelines, ensuring all promotional activities align with deadlines.
- Support the creation and distribution of press releases and media kits.
- Liaise with artist management, agents, and venue operations to ensure smooth event execution.
- Maintain and update databases of artists, promoters, and media contacts.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and manage promotional budgets under supervision.
- Assist with on-site event logistics as needed, including merchandise coordination and VIP services.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, audience demographics, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare post-event reports and analysis, including ticket sales data and marketing campaign performance.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of digital marketing platforms and social media.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated passion for live music and entertainment events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Arts Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or marketing support role, preferably within the entertainment or events industry.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) for basic content creation.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS).
